- Bid Proposal for Installation – FREE
- Travel Beyond 10 Miles – $3.00 Per Mile, One Way
- Design Time – $150 Per Hour
We reserve design-only landscaping services for the winter months when hands-on projects slow down. Limited design-only requests are available throughout the year, but wait times may extend into the Fall/Winter of 2025. If you’re planning a project, reach out early to secure your spot!

During Your Landscaping Consultation

After receiving your bid, you can review and discuss it with our professional landscapers. If needed, we’ll make revisions to align with your idea. Once everything is approved, we’ll provide the next steps and add your project to our construction schedule.
Do I Need Landscaping Design?
Our landscaping experts will tell you if you need a fully labeled design. Typically, for larger projects or phased installations, a fully labeled landscape design can provide a clear visualization of plant placements and structural elements. If requested, this may extend the turnaround time for your bid, but it ensures every detail is planned to perfection.

Every project is unique, and providing an accurate estimate without seeing your property can be tricky. Factors like your existing landscape, site accessibility, and slopes all play a role in the overall cost. That’s why our landscaping experts assess these details on-site during your consultation.
After working as landscaping contractors for over 30 years, we’ve found that our services are the best fit for projects starting at $8,000. If your project is smaller, don’t worry – we have some great referrals.

Backflow Services
A backflow prevention device keeps your drinking water clean by stopping used water from flowing back into your system. However, these devices must be tested annually to ensure your safety. As professional landscapers, we specialize in testing these devices.
Our backflow services include:
- Call-in testing upon request
- Annual automatic testing with direct billing
- Enrollment in our year-round Sprinkler/Backflow Program
Shonnard’s Sprinkler/Backflow Program Includes:
- First hour of service for the spring irrigation system turn-on/check
- One backflow test
- First hour of service for the irrigation turn-off/fall winterization
